The Privilege of Place. Hidden in the heart of Rutherford, Quintessa is a 280-acre site that reflects a diversity of geology, biodiversity, exposures and microclimates – all coming together in one distinctive wine. To preserve the natural mosaic of the vineyard, each small plot is farmed, harvested and vinified individually so the nuances of the land shine through. Just three decades since its 1989 planting, Quintessa is already a timeless Napa Valley classic.

Favia Wines was founded in 2003 as a collaboration between Viticulturist Annie Favia and Winemaker Andy Erickson. Our philosophy is simple: create soulful wines that express the true nature of the vineyards from which they come. The wines focus on two cultivars that thrive in the Napa Valley: Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. We use organic and mindful farming practices where the smallest details make the difference— we endeavor to listen to what the land is saying. In the winery, gentle handling, minimal intervention, and strict monitoring of the wine make it possible for the beauty of the Napa Valley terroir to shine.
