"Very focused with bright fruit such as dark berry and dried strawberry. Floral undertones too. Full body, hints of dried spice, dried meat and a long finish. Drink now." 95 Points, James Suckling
Contains six (6) bottles of 2012 The Lure in a beautiful, wood box.
The 2011 Pact is a blend of 87% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12% Petit Verdot and 1% Merlot and was sourced from Coombsville in the eastern foothills south of Atlas Peak. It is Napa Valley’s newest appellation and Faust’s home vineyard location. The marine breeze from nearby San Pablo Bay provides a cooler climate allowing for slow, even ripening and an extended hang time which results in excellent structure, dark fruit character and layered complexity.
The Lure showcases fruit from Napa Valley’s legendary Stagecoach Vineyard, one of the most extreme terroirs in the region. The 2011 is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and unveils aromas of red cherry, raspberry and blackberry with tobacco and cedar notes.
Contains (2) magnums (1.5L each) of the 2011 The Pact and The Lure in a beautiful, wood gift box.
Contains one (1) magnum (1.5L) each of the following vintages of Quintessa: 2009, 2010 and 2011. Limited availability.
2012 was an exceptional vintage with ideal weather conditions during key parts of the growing season. The year began with a moderate and dry spring followed by a classic Napa summer of warm days and cool nights. This weather put little pressure on the vines, allowing for idyllic bud break, balanced flowering, even fruit set, and perfect grapes.
Rarely do you find a wine that is seamless from start to finish. This wine entices with aromas of violets mingled with red and black fruit. On the palate, it is rich and concentrated, finishing with elegant well-balanced tannins. This is truly an exceptional wine from a textbook growing season.
“Outstanding…One of the strongest efforts to date from this winery” - Robert Parker, Wine Advocate
